Play With Fire

The idea for this piece came to my head while I was up North at the cottage. We were all sitting outside at night around the campfire. As I stared deep into the fire I had memories of times when I was a little kid always playing around with the campfire, so I wanted to recreate that through this piece. The stars at the cottage are always so beautiful so I wanted to incorporate those as well. On one side fire can represent heat and survival, and on the other it can represent death and torture.
